ReadMe.io joins Y Combinator W2015

We're thrilled to announce that ReadMe.io is currently a participant in the Y Combinator Winter 2015 batch. Y Combinator is the preeminent seed-stage acceleration fund for startups, and the wisdom and inspiration of its community has been nothing short of galvanizing. We have had a wild ride and are more excited to lead our company now than ever before.

We entered Y Combinator just a few months after our launch wondering how on earth we would grow this business and where we might be come late March. With the advantage of hindsight, we have only you—our supporters, champions, and clients—to thank for buoying us through the late Spree candy binges and (very minor!) service outages. For all the feedback and insight you've provided, the encouragement and advice: you have our thanks.

More than anything, Y Combinator has provided us with the opportunity to dream ambitiously about what ReadMe might be three, six, twelve, and twenty-four months from now.

Stay tuned for some incredible changes to ReadMe: the long awaited "new template," the awesome APIs and IPAs podcast, and a whole host of additional improvements.

If you haven't already, have a look at our recent TechCrunch article, sign your open source project up for free service, or simply reach out and say hi. We're looking forward to hearing from you.
